How does The Race Haus work?+
You'll get set up in one of our simulators and we'll guide you based on your experience level. From there, you can jump into different types of sessions. Race: compete against others or AI. Practice: learn the car and track. Qualifying: set your fastest lap time.
How long is a typical session?+
A standard session is 30 minutes, which gives you enough time to learn the track and put down some solid lap times. For groups, we recommend 1-2 hours.
Do I need experience?+
Not at all. Our software can scale assists from fully automatic (gas and steer) to completely raw simulation. Our hosts will help you get comfortable.
Can kids drive?+
Drivers must be at least 54 inches tall to reach the pedals comfortably. Generally this means 10 years old and up. Static simulators 4, 5, and 6 are fully adjustable, so we recommend booking those for smaller kids. Every wheel also lets you turn the force feedback up or down, so you can dial in exactly how much or how little resistance you want. A parent or guardian must sign the waiver for anyone under 18.
Are there scores and competition?+
Yes. Everything is timed and tracked: lap times, leaderboards, and full race results with positions and gaps. Race head-to-head with people in the lounge, or for more advanced drivers we can connect you to online racing against drivers globally. We also host structured leagues and events where drivers compete over multiple weeks.
Can I choose my track and car?+
Absolutely. Choose from real-world tracks like F1 circuits, GT tracks, and street courses, plus different racing series like GT3, GT4, Formula cars, street cars, and drifting. Stick with one car or switch it up every session.
Can cars be tuned or customized?+
Yes. Cars can be tuned and adjusted (handling, setup, and more) depending on how deep you want to go. We don't build tracks from scratch in-session, but we have access to a massive library of real and custom tracks.
How competitive is it?+
Totally up to you. Some people come in just to have fun and drive fast cars. Others treat it like real racing: chasing lap times, joining leagues, learning tracks, and improving. We support both ends of that spectrum.
Is there a dress code?+
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Avoid heavy boots or heels; flat-soled shoes or socks are best for pedal feel.
Can we bring food and drinks?+
For private events and parties, absolutely. BYOB and outside catering are welcome. Bring your own drinks and food, or we'll connect you with our catering partners. Just mention it in your event inquiry so we can set up the space.
